October 6:
(1) (1897) American biochemist Florence B. Seibert is born. She is best known for isolating tuberculin which helped to develop an effective tuberculosis test, and for determining that bacteria produce toxins that can cause fevers.
(2) (1934) American psychologist Marshall Rosenberg is born. He developed Nonviolent Communication, a form of communication that helps people exchange information in order to resolve conflicts in a peaceful manner. 
(3) (1962) American biochemist and computational biologist David Baker is born. He is known for developing methods to that can predict and design the 3D structures of proteins.
